Coral Gardens: Aviary Bathhouse is a sculptural birdbath that brings the intricate forms of marine ecosystems into an urban landscape. Inspired by coral reef formations, the work reimagines an underwater habitat as a terrestrial gathering place, offering birds a space to drink, bathe, and rest.

Created for the Inside~Out public art exhibition presented by Kin & Company, the sculpture explores the interconnectedness of land and sea, transforming coral-inspired forms into a functional habitat for urban wildlife.

By inviting birds to interact with the work and passersby to observe these encounters, Aviary Bathhouse creates opportunities for curiosity, connection, and care. The sculpture becomes both an ecological gesture and a shared experience, encouraging viewers to consider how art and design can support the living environments we inhabit.

Part of the ongoing Coral Gardens series, the work reflects an interest in collapsing the distance between land and sea while exploring the possibilities of sculpture as an act of ecological care.
